At the junction between the streets Unió and Joan Coromines we can find this modernist building, an important example of industrial modernism. The building was designed by the architect Lluís Muncunill in 1908 for the Sociedad General de Electricidad. The building is modeled on the Vapor Aymerich, Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia. The building retained its original duty almost to the end of 1990, now houses a popular restaurant.
